This decaf Sumatra is a classic with a twist by using traditional wet-hulled process and is decaffeinated with chemical-free, mountain water process to produce a coffee that maintains the typical full body, chestnut sweetness character without the usual decaf flavour. These processes break the preconceived notion of decaf coffee not tasting as good as caffeinated coffee, and with more and more producers improving and offering more decaf coffees, this has become the newest favourite pick in cafes! Not only that, Gayo Mandiri and Bener Meriah’s cooperative work reinvests the dividends to fund transportation infrastructure projects and even their own community ambulance service, furthering sustainable development.
